Cremation in South West Sydney

Choosing an unattended cremation can be a practical decision, a personal preference or a way to follow someone’s wishes. Fixed Price Cremations provides this service across our South West Sydney cremation service area for $1,995 including GST.

We explain the costs and arrangements clearly, with phone support available 24/7. For people planning ahead, prepaid cremations cost $2,135 including GST.

Check the postcode of the location of the person who has died before making arrangements. For locations outside our main service area, call us to discuss availability and any additional transfer costs.

What is a direct cremation?

A direct or unattended cremation means the cremation takes place without mourners present and without a formal funeral ceremony. We look after the person who has died, arrange the required documentation and return the ashes afterwards.

This suits people who want cremation without an attended funeral. It is important that the service matches the person’s wishes and the arrangements you intend to make.

South West Sydney is home to people with many different beliefs and family traditions. If you need a viewing, a religious ceremony, a witnessed cremation or particular timing, speak with us before proceeding. We can explain the scope of our unattended service so you can decide whether it meets your needs.

Clear costs for a straightforward choice

Choosing a simpler cremation service does not mean compromising on care. Every person in our care is treated with the same professionalism, respect and dignity you would expect from a traditional funeral provider. Comparing costs and understanding what is included in our service are reasonable parts of making an informed decision.

Our $1,995 price includes these services within our main service area:

There is no attended funeral or separate memorial included. Optional urns and keepsakes can be purchased if you want an alternative to our standard container. If a transfer is outside our main service area, call us about any additional costs before arranging.

Visit our cremation costs page to review the inclusions.

Keeping Cremation Simple

Family members may have different schedules, live in different areas or may be assisting from interstate. Arrangements can be completed online and over the phone, making it easy to organise everything from wherever you are.

The person authorised to arrange the cremation can work with our team and provide the information required for death registration. We will explain the details needed, including information about the person’s family and relationships.

This gives you the flexibility to do things in your own time and in your own way, without the additional services and costs associated with a traditional funeral.

South West Sydney Service Area

Whether you are enquiring from Liverpool, Fairfield, Cabramatta or another part of South West Sydney, use the postcode checker to confirm that the location of the person who has died is within our service area.

Your own address may be different from the transfer address. If you live in the Southern Highlands but are arranging for someone in South West Sydney, their current location is the one to check.

If they are in an aged care home, you can let the staff know your chosen provider and give them our contact details. Our team can also answer questions about arrangements before a death occurs.

For information about other locations, see our NSW cremation service areas.

Your choices after the cremation

Once the ashes are returned, you can organise your own memorial or gathering if you wish to do so. This might be a family gathering, a separate ceremony or something private. You can also decide that no event is needed or change your mind later on.

The ashes can be delivered to an Australian postal address, including a PO Box. Our cremation urns page has information about optional urns and keepsakes if you would like to keep or share ashes in a different way.

Planning your own cremation

Our prepaid cremations cost $2,135 including GST and are available Australia-wide. A plan records your preference for an unattended cremation and pays for the agreed service at today’s price.

If you are outside our main service area, call us to discuss transfer arrangements and any additional costs. Learn more on our prepaid cremations page.
